Hi there! I’m Simon, a student at Carnegie Mellon University studying computer science, particularly interested in new theoretical and practical questions across (distributed, operating, ML, secure) systems.
At CMU, I’ve worked with Professor Wenting Zheng and the Systems, Networking, and Performance (SNAP) lab on secure multi-party LUT evaluation for privacy-preserving ML inference and data analytics. Prior to that, I worked with the Computational Structures Group @ MIT CSAIL studying privacy-preserving database access & retrieval under the mentorship of Sacha Servan-Schreiber.
Outside of research, I’ve helped build the GPU compute marketplace at Tensordock (now acquired by Voltage Park) and more recently interned on a quantitative research team at Point72, working on their singal research and trading platform.
